PCI Express Ultra-fast Data Acquisition Add-In Cards



Ultraview's PCIe series of data acquisition add-in cards are complete A/D systems on a single PCIe add-in card. These boards incorporate up to 8GB of on-board RAM with 1.4GB/sec typical PCIe bus transfer rates enabling full-rate acquisition for long durations. All boards in the PCIe series are supported with the same user software allowing users to select the bit resolution and acquisition rate appropriate for a given application and then easily re-use the same software on a different part. Included with each card are graphical waveform viewers, example user software with source code included, and device drivers for Linux and Windows. The example software is intended to allow users to quickly prototype and develop their applications.

These boards can easily be customized for high-end applications by modifying the firmware for the on-board Xilinx FPGA to perform real-time signal processing, this firmware source code is provided under NDA as needed. Synchronization with external hardware is easily done using optional external clocking, external triggering, selective recording, and multiple user programmable TTL I/O.
